After leaving college, and awaiting A2 level results work experience seems to be the next obvious step in achieving our final goals.
However...this is so much easier said than done.
As I said, it's an obvious choice and consequently many others have come to this conclusion. Inevitably it's virtually impossible to find new and innovating ways to set ourselves apart from our peers.
My ultimate goal, ambitious though it may be, is to write for a massively popular women's fashion magazine. Due to this goal involving fashion and journalism I have decided to apply for experience at modelling agencies and magazines.
The problem is; how do you compile a "cover letter" worthy of this opportunity, and what, apart from experience at basic magazines, is credible enough to wow the editors in the required CV.
I guess it may seem as though i stand an advantage as a budding journalist, but really it's not about the way it's written it's about what we have achieved, and at 18 we are certainly restricted in this respect.
